Activities

Cowgers’ is located on one of Maine’s largest lakes, providing many opportunities for a variety of outdoor activities, including time on the water, fishing, boating, canoeing and kayaking. The younger campers in the family will enjoy swimming off our sandy beach, docks to fish from, and paddle boating. The “minnows” in the family will enjoy swinging and sliding in our playground. In the evenings, many customers enjoy relaxing in the peace and quiet of a campfire while roasting hot dogs and s’mores or listening to the call of the loon from their front porch.

For the fisherman, East Grand is nationally recognized for its landlocked salmon, lake trout, and smallmouth bass. We are open year-round to accommodate ice fishing (Jan-Mar) and open-water fishing (May-Sept).

For the hunter, our area is home to big and small game animals which include white-tailed deer, moose, black bear, grouse and woodcock (Sept-Nov).

All cabins are equipped with DirecTV and free Wi-Fi
